Delicate patterns painted on silk chiffon. These Kolka scarves are inspired by designs from Kolkata a region in India I grew up in. The white silk is painted first with resist and then with silk dyes. After a lengthy steam setting process, the dyes are permanent. They are dry cleanable or hand washable.
