Kolkata ties are a throwback to my childhood and the patterns drawn on red floors in India during the festivities. Reminiscent of those patterns in Kolkata I draw these abstract paisley pattern ties. The silk is charmeuse, painted with dyes and resist. They can be dry cleaned.
